What If? : A reimagination with counterfactual Indian History

We all know that India got Independence on the 15th of August 1947. But well, there was a time when alongside England, even France tried a hand on ruling India and they were doing extremely well (in fact better than England because France won many Indian ruler's hearts). But Alas! France couldn't stay for long because on 1757, the tide turned in the opposite direction as William Pitt from England came up with a master plan to kick France out of India (the plan is mentioned in brief in the comic). Now, what if William Pitt never came up with a plan? What if France would have stayed for longer then? What if France would have done better? Just... What if?
