If mobile revolution was on Instagram

I was looking
at historical events that have cultural value and contribute to a certain kind
of memory and history of mankind came to my mind. The larger questions involved
in humanities start with the very basic question of what it means to be human.
Looking at human history, I tried to translate that into today’s contemporary
world. There are factors like culture, environment, community, religion that
play an important role in defining humans as a race. But what if, in the
millennial generation that we live in, holds a similar race in their hand.
Mobiles! Mobile
technology has shaped the world we live in during that time and how mobile
technologies are poised to influence our future in the coming years.
When I tried to
compare this manmade race with the human race I was surprised to find tons of
similarities in them. There are Iphones and there are Nokia phones, and they
have evolved themselves to prove to be the smartest race on the planet who have
the capacity to multitask. What if mobile technology is just repeating human history
again? My project is a sarcastic take on the evolution of mobiles where mobiles
act like humans.
The following is an
Instagram timeline where different mobiles interact with each other through the
social media platform.
